Quick, easy Q: Facets 4 traps

from arreat : "Certain items will allow a player to lower an enemy's resistances and/or heighten elemental damage. These items will not function with most traps as some traps are minions of the character and the damage is not generated directly from the character in question."

Is this still applicable? Or do facets help any at all? i wanted to make sure before I socketed. Thanks!

Yes, it's correct. Facets work with Fireblast (since that's not really trap, so it's not minion) and don't work with Lightning sentry.
