Quick Blizz-baalrunning question.

How should I deal with those pesky cold immune skellies with my blizz sorc? My merc is somehow unable to kill them as he gets slower than slow, I have a wand of lower resist lvl 2, will that help me get rid of their immunities along with my lvl 27 or so Cold mastery?

Then there is something wrong with your Merc, or does he jst get chilled. All Blizzsorc i have heard of posted here, let their Merc take care of those skellies.

What kind of equipment does your Merc have?

Reapers toll, stealskull and a shaft :/

With Reaper's, Upgraded Shaftstop and Kira's my merc can kill all the skeletons + lister without any real issues (or Countess+pack, CI Pindle, Shenk+pack, Eldritch+pack, all CI in Pits, etc).

I would recommend upgrading your shaftstop and if your Reaper's is a low ED, trade for a higher one. To further improve your killing speed you can socket the Reaper's with a Shael or +15 IAS jewel.

That being said, you can always help out by static'ing the skeletons down to 1/2 life.

Heps with the high resist all. If your problem is mainly the killing speed, try socketing a shael in the reaper's. That will add 20 IAS. IAS jewels will also work. And as long as he's not dying, you can be patient if he's just a little slow.

try lvling him a bit more, i find doing nm baal with him improves his lvl alot, makes sure its private though, he wont get exp for anyone's kill but urs, also, you can try a gladiators bane for the cannot be forzen effect, its cheap and offers a high def.

Hows an eth bonehew as a merc weapon? And should i put this on a might merc for summoner or my bliz sorc? And if so which merc (meanen holy freeze or somethin like defiance)? These are mainly for meph runs becuase my lvl 78 sorc has yet to make past diablo xP

+(270-320)% Enhanced Damage
+30% Increased Attack Speed
Level 14 Corpse Explosion (30 Charges)
50% Chance to cast level 16 Bone Spear on striking
Prevents Monster Healing
Socketed (2)

Eth will ofcourse raise the dam by 50%.
It comes w/ +10 base wep speed.
30% IAS can't be ignored.
16 BS 50% is just hilarious at somewhat useful in norm.
PMH mod is only little effective against bosses and hell champions, but almost REQUIRED if you want to kill DC w/ ease.
2 soc you can soc it w/ 40/15s or just simply amn amn for 14% life stea.

A HF merc and might both will be really good for your summoner, and I'd go w/ might for your blizz sorc cuz your merc will only kill cold immune monsters that you can't kill and if they only fight cold immunes, what will HF do?

Edited : You can always soc 2 shaels but you'll have to find out IAS bp for Bonehew on merc.

Well what i do for that, is eth gladiators bane in merc, along with eth 3 socketed tomb reaver with shaels for more speed and gaze for some leech and Damage Reduced. Then again the harder part is not killing the skellys, but to find the lvl 2 and 3, not to mention cleaning the throne, where there are practically always strong cis bosses.

I started doing baal runz with my blizz sorc about 1 month ago, i had no idea a lot of people did it, i though i was part of the small group that did baal runz.
