questions about dc

so i joined this game today and i got the message that diablo walks the earth and it shakes and all that.. but it was a public baal game and i dont know if it came after or what but the people left during the game are all searching with me and we cant find dc and everytime i rejoin it still shakes. does it shake even when dc is dead?

Yes it does. Your best bet to find him [if he's still alive] is to run around the Cold plains. Whatever unique monster you come across should turn into him [again, if he's still alive].

I think it the ground still shakes and you still get the "Diablo walks the Earth message" even if DC has already been spawned and killed.

can anyone speak from experience? just so i know for sure and dont end up spending all day in this game

Just goto a place where you KNOW that he will spawn, IE shenk / eldwich.

There is no need for you to stay endlessly in this game.If the soj counter is showing in your game and u get the message - diaclone walks the earth - the FIRST SUPERUNIQUE monster that encounter you will be diaclone.For example Rakanishu,Bischibosch,Shenk, Eldritch. Its not like somebody stated before a random unique monster. If u kill diaclone and another player joins this game a few seconds or minute later he will get the message too(diaclone walks the earth) although he is already killed.Therefore to check if he is already killed just find the nearest Superunique monster, if it doesnt turn into DC, he is dead or -
if its an open game - other players just spawned him elsewhere and are fightin him.
