    question regarding to iron golem

I have read through the golem FAQ in the mouldy tome and noticed that it states

    "Iron Golem skills.txt
uses Thorns state as aura with own percentages
fade 16? something with etherealness I guess.
+25 ar per Slvl Golem Mastery,........"

If this is true, would it gain lv 16 fade or it is just appearance?
From observation I have noticed every monster/character in the game that has the ethereal look has some kind of "fade" ability, physical and/or elemental resistance; including the nats set (sure it says on AS that they don't do anything other then look cool, nevertheless they still get the PDR and resistance from full set; which in my opinion is just the same as the skill fade activated)

Does anyone has an exact answer on this? Would be alwsome if it gets some extra mode from ethereal weapons~~:jig:

Probably just for appearances. IG has his own set of resists. For an exact answer RTB is your man.

I know it's not the fade of the Assassin, and it's most likely only used when the item used is ethereal. Testing IG dmg has been put on the to-do list.
