question re: hell ancients....

Hi all

I have a lev 84 IK barb, just wondering about Hell Ancients (hardcore), is it easier to do ancients by yourself or in group (and if in group what should group consist of)?

Like most "hardcore hermits", I predominately play solo but the thought of taking hell ancients on solo gives me great fear. On the other hand the monsters hit points seem to go up so much once you play in a party it takes me forever to kill anything.

Your suggestions please ....

i'd do it myself, and i did, many times with IK barb. imo it's way better than killing them with ppl that dont know what are they doing(unless you have a friend that can play the game) :thumbsup:
it should be no problem for you mate, ancients are weak! :xgrin:

Ik barb+decent hammerdin is the easiest. But like Kakarot said, you can probably do it alone (just reset if there's a dangerous combo of ancients :>)

My Softcore Ik barb had so little trouble with the Ancients I was actually surprised when I did them.

Ya it shouldn't be a big deal. Spam BC at the start and have some full rejuvs in your belt and you'll be golden.

Which mods would u reset for, I assume if they popped out fanatacism or might, what are the other danger mods???

curse! fana+amp is evil :xrollseye I also hate mana burn ancs, but keep some blue pots on ur belt and u'll be fine! Fire enchanteds can deal nice damage when they die, but they will harsly kill you, since u got near 4k life, decent res, some pdr!

I'd definitely steer away from FE and more definitely FEB/LEB!
