Question on player setings

Somewhere in the paladin thread some one sayd that I can change player setings on single player(he didn't mentioned how).Can they realy be changed? If yes, then how can I do it?

Open up the chat box (press enter) and type '/players x' (without quotations and where x is a number between 1 and 8).

x can be greater than 8 as well, but will default to 8 in such a case.
to reset to 1 (or however many in a LAN game) just type "/players" in the chat box - no number needed. (message will say 1 player, even in multiplayer games though).

In 1.09 x can be 1-64 IIRC, which was changed to 1-8 in 1.10.

That was in only one version of 1.09... which one, I have no idea, but I think the final 1.09 release also was limited to 8 players. Jaedhann's Time Traveller's thread probably explains it if anyone really wants to give /p64 a try.

Yes I would like to give /players 32 a try but I can't find the thread. Is it in the SPF?
