Question on Hammer Damage

Ok, I've read the Mathemetical (sp?) Guide to Hammerdin Damage and it said to alternate points between lets say Vigor and Concentration at each level. Would I still get the same hammer outcome if I were to max Concentration and then do Vigor? Thanks, and if you want to know my gear I will post it.

How you max the BH Synergy skills does not affect the dmg BH deals once you have maxed them.
You are better off maxing Concentration before any of the other synergy skills because you are going to be using it as your aura for 99% of the time.
Concentration is also going to benefit any class doing physical damage if they are close enough to you as well.

You can alternate points in Vigor and Conc until Vigor has 10 points in it then max conc, max vigor, max Blessed Aim and then everything else in Holy Shield.

Of course, It doesn't care what order you follow maxing skills. After 20/20/20/20 you obviously get the same damage no matter the path you follow.
That guide, however, tells you what is the optimal path for max hammer damage at every level.

Take the guide's word for it... he's not lying to you. He took the mathamatical approach to it, so you could get the most effective hammerdin the fastest possible, at every level. Just follow it exactly... that's what I did, and it worked out perfectly. :thumbsup:

Oh, so it was for getting the highest damage possible at each level? I feel like such a dummy :lol: :bonk: Thank you for clearing that up

Just follow guide in order to have maximum possible damage of hammer every level untill you hit lvl 78-79 where you should finish your offensive part of hammerdin aka 20BH, 20Vigor, 20BA, 20Conc
Guide did not specify why its so great idea altenate vigor first with conce and only later back and max BA... At early levels with relatively low wealth best transport spell paladin have is vigor - then you max vigor you can out run teleporting sorc via vigor-charge movement
