    Question on gloves durability

If I use a pair of eth gloves on a caster, who never does physical attacks, will the gloves lose durability?

I believe since gloves are considered armor you will lose duribility if you are hit, the same as for your helm/boots/armor/shield. But as a sorceress you shouldn't be hit that often so the repair costs should be fairly low.

They're eth, so they'll just break eventually.

They will lose durability but very slowly.

Eventually they will break as they can't be repaired
