question on cube recipe

3 Perfect Skulls + 1 Rare Item + Stone of Jordan = Add 1 Socket To a Rare Item
Rare Items can only have two sockets. You cannot add sockets to items that don't normally have sockets.

does that mean i can do it twice to give my rare item 2 sockets? or maybe get larzuk to socket the first one, then use the recipe?

No, this simply means that rare items can spawn with two sockets. You can only socket an item once, whether it's by a cube recipe or with larzuk.

As I said in my previous post,

You can only socket an item once, whether it's by a cube recipe or with larzuk.

ok, looks like i didn't make it clear enough...

say i found an item that SPAWNED with a socket in it (see? not socketed by larzuk nor by cube recipe), would the recipe work then?

larzuk clearly states that he won't socket anything that has sockets, regardless of whether it spawned with sockets or u added the sockets urself.

the recipe, however, never stated that.

There is no legal way to add a socket to something that already has sockets.
