When I first started time-travelling, I really wanted to go back to pre-LOD versions. When I had found some items that I wanted to bring forward to LOD 1.1x, I was unaware of the bug that exists in certain situations. For those who don't know, if you convert a character from 1.06 or before, directly into a later version of the game (1.09 or later I believe), most, if not all of the items receive different stats. You can avoid this bug by converting thusly: 1.06 -> 1.07 -> 1.13 (for example).
I have thought that maybe this bug could produce items with stats that are way out of whack (Such as attributes over their maximum values). I have not yet experimented with this.
Are these "glitched" or "bugged" (or whatever you'd like to call them) items considered kosher in this community? And if so, has anyone ever (either accidentally or intentionally) gotten an item through this process that is actually useful or in any way noteworthy?
