Question Concerning Aura Damage Enhancers for skele's

Hi
After having built most cookie cutters, i decided to build a skelemancer, someting i've wanted to make for a long time.
I do own some expensive items, without bragging, but after having acquired some stuff i have questions concerning them.

Beast Axe with lvl 9 Fana
Might Merc level **

If my Summoning level is at level 42 and my skellies do +- 600 dmg,
will 600 be my base number to calculate the aura's ED on ?

Also Does cold aura shatter corpses ?

Cold damage always got the chance of shatter corpses. I don't know if that chance is a fixed number or it depends on how much cold damage you deal to moster. However freezed monsters always shatter when die.

The damage boost to your skellies from the Beast Fanaticism aura or a Might Merc is quite complex and best explained by a long article by Ruvanal that I re-posted here http://www.rpgforums.net/showthread.php?t=135036. A major effect of even a low level Fanaticism is the increase in attack rate of the skellies so you'll become an incredibly powerful killing machine.

The Holy freeze aura causes some of the corpses to shatter, about 30% would be a good guess but it does not matter much unless it happens to the first 2 or 3 corpses you want for CE. Skeletons seldom need to be re-summoned.

Fanaticism is a great Aura. But we all know that Act 2 Merc's don't have that Aura. The Beast Axe sounds cool, but my merc can't use it. I won't use it either because I have to hold the Arm of King Leoric. Does anyone know some other items that have imbued Fanaticism?

Why not raise all your skellys (prebuff) with your arm, then weapon switch to Beast axe? thats what i do, and my skells kick arse

With my lvl 87 Might merc, and lvl 9 fanat, and amp damage (and lvl 46 raise skeleton and Skeletal mastery) my skels must do at least 2200 damage each x 15

People are usually in awe , lol

46/46 Skeletons with slvl18 Might and slvl9 Fanat would do 1373-1380 damage. Against monsters with 0% physical resist that would double, so it's a bit more that 2200.
Oh, and you should have 17 skeletons, not 15. :)

i thought once you got rid of +skill items your skeletons would weaken accordingly?

Skeletons cannot be prebuffed, just like druid furries. This was a change in 1.10. Using the Arm to summon them and switching to Beast would be not any different than using Beast to summon them (once the game does a check on your skills - doesn't happen instantly).
