    Question About WW

Sorry if this is a simple question, but I haven't been able to find the answer, and when I get one, it's always mixed.

While Whirlwinding, I know "% to cast when striking/attacking" will not trigger, but does deadly strike, crushing blow, open wounds, and the critical strike from the masteries still work?

    Thanks for your responses!

Oh...that was fast. I've been playing this game for awhile but I guess I just won Newb of the Year.

    Thanks for the quick reply!

Wait, so life tap from drac's don't trigger through whirlwinding? Damn, looks like i'll have to put a couple of points into concentrate...

You get a point of concentrate by going with whirlwind anyways, and it gets a 200% damage bonus from having max BO as it is. You won't need more than that one base point.

Still, I like whirlwind since I pass through the enemys while attacking and, with concentrate I will give them a chance to hit me. So, I would put the points into concentrate for a bigger defensive bonus.

Why would you do that when you could put the extra points in ironskin instead and get a perpetual defense boost, both to whirlwind/conc and when standing still?

There's no reason to invest in more than one weapon skill that doesn't synergize your main.

Ah good point, i'll do that. But concentrate is also pretty good against hard-hitting bosses.

Yeah, I don't knock that, conc is really great, but even with one point in it and 20 BO, it will do more damage than max whirlwind.

    Gotta love synergies.
