Question about Skullder

So I just traded for a skullder, thinking it would be good for MFing but I look at it now and it says "2% better chance of getting magic items (based on character level)" which confuses me cause I thought it was 1.25% per level. Its also socketed with a perfect topaz and has a separate 24% magic find line. So did I buy messed up armor or what? I'm quite confused? Thanks.

For every character level it adds 2% magic find or something. What level is your char?

Are you looking at that armour when its in a level 1 mule?
It is 1.25% per level but the number it reflects is the final number after considering the clvl of the character it is on right now.
And yes when you socket with p topaz, it is reflected on a separate line because this 24% is not related to clvl.

the 1.25% is rounded down, so until every other 4 levels you dont get that extra 1%
