Question about Replenishing + Propogation suffixes

From Arreat summit:
Replenishing Replenish Quantity (2) Throwing Weapons(5)
Propogation Replenish Quantity (24) Throwing Weapons(24)

What do the numbers mean? I guess it's how fast the item replenishes, and it looks like propogation is much faster, but by exctly how much? I assume there is no way of telling which of these a rare item has (apart from testing)?

And what ilvl is required for each? (and how do you work out the ilvl from the alvl (which is what I think arreat lists?)?)

Of Replenishing: Alvl 5, Rlvl 3, adds one to quantity every 20 seconds
Of Propogation: Alvl 24, Rlvl 18, adds one to quantity every 10 seconds

You can tell which one has spawned on a rare, but that takes a bit of knowledge about the save file. Testing would be easier.
