Question about namelock with Charge

? noticed that while charging by namelocking someone, my character always slows down as whoever I namelock teleports very far away. Normally a Paladin can chase down teleporters with namelock but in this case my character immediately shifts into a motion as if he's stuck and inching forward very slowly, at the same time ? also lose my namelock.

Anyone care to to explain this?

Charge is buggy.. there's a lot of things that can go wrong with it like cl or charging backwards it's just another bug I guess.
