    question about lvl 99

hi i play ladder on europe realm
and my sorceress is 98 now
(trying to make anti baalbot statement)
but there is something i've been thinking about for ages
how do ladder ranks work after you reach lvl 99?
i've heard some stories but they didnt seem likely to be true

if anybody knows this or has a good theory
    plz let me know :)

    thx in advance

I'm not sure, but I've heard that the person who reaches 99 the fastest is #1 untill someone does it faster.

IIRC Blizzard said that on ladder, the first L99 character will be the permament #1 of the ranking, but I just checked that and that character (ETFonTop-something for Europe) is #67 atm. Perhaps it's XP+Factor1*(value of equipment and resources)+Factor2/(Time needed to achieve L99) or something.

    Hello!

Not sure if that's still true in 1.10, but a 99 character usually always took #1 ranking if he died ingame (1.09).

EDIT: Don't try that if you play HC ^^

I heard a while ago (when ladder reset) that it was the person who had most recently logged on. If anyone has a level 99 you could try this out.

ya if u lvl 99 n u not first, just log on lvl a lil bit then u be no.1.
if someone do the same, he be first.
always the last lvl 99 in rankin is the first one who reach ladder, cuz they r no.1 long time ago quit long time ago. hmm like nini on west sor lad, so tough on west pal lad.

This is correct. However, there is a hack out there that permanently keeps your character at the top of the ranking by fooling Bnet into thinking you are still in a game. I happen to know that the top 4 or 5 people on the USWest SC ladder use it .... sad really as it makes no difference. It's the order in which you became 99 that counts and not your current rank when ladder ends.

Ah, yes  We currently have quite bad weather here as well

Sorry, but I understand only half of what you said. If you have problems expressing yourself in full sentences or using complete words, I apologize for pointing that out, but if you do it out of laziness or because you think it makes you more 1337 or something like that, I suggest to - well, it might be considered as insulting to write that.

    Just my 2c...
