Congratulations on the Tyrael!

Can I see a screenshot ingame? It's always a much more magical feeling when seeing it in the game. This is because I probably won't ever find something like that, just wanted to see.

Rerolling that BotD isn't legit. I would suggest that you destroy the runes in it with unsocketing recipe and keep the sword with empty sockets. I guess the sword itself is legit because you saw it drop. But the runes...who knows?

Tyrael's is a bit harder question. It seems to be legit but it doesn't mean it isn't hacked. He also could have used a mod, I bet mods who will give you uber drops can be downloaded somewhere. I don't believe that Tyrael's is legit either.

Of course you can keep them both, we can't decide that. But if you do so, please don't trade them to us or come to our MP games with them. Thanks

That BotD isn't legit and the Tyreals is, if you're mate is trustworthy.
His story is inline with the stats on the armour, so there is no reason to doubt it, if he is trustworthy.
It all boils down to trust and if you do trust him then I would use the item, brag as much as you can and thank your friend profusely

The max on a magic weapon is 300% from the cruel prefix. Rares can have up to 450%, while eth rares can get up to 350% (someone check me on this).

Ethereal rares get up to 450% too.

Except that Fool's and Masters (plus the other ed%/+ar mods) are in the same group, so they can't spawn together.

Grinding and Cruel are in the same group too. Grinding cannot spawn with any ed% only prefix.

300% ED on a magic weapon. Not sure about the +min/+max -- I think it's +30 min, +63 max.

About the BotD sword -- I've no reason to believe it hacked or duped. A friend of mine does this (ironically I taught him how). You set your character to 'read-only' and put the runes in. If it's a low-end variable mod, you save and exit and put the runes in again, till you get a high-end variable mod, at which point you turn off 'read-only' and save and exit. I did this at the start of 1.09, and that's how I know -- haven't used ever since. I don't think this is cheating that badly. Why? Because some of the other SPF members use it. I remember numerous threads where people (I won't mention names, can't remember most anyway) said they had re-rolled their HotO/BotD/other high-end runeword to get perfect or near-perfect stats.

Not to sound like I'm defending of flaming anyone, but it's just my 2c.

Sorry man, this is just like rerolling Hellforge to get Guls...you take what you get and you move on. That's the breaks...I'd have 6 Chaos claws now, if I could reroll Hellforge. Instead I have a buttload of Hels and Puls (not that I'm complaining about the Puls...2nd most useful mid rune).

Im pretty sure about tyreals now that u guys said it can have item lvl **. At first i thought he traded for it on open. But on his comp, he has no mods, or any trainer/editor. I jus thought ilvl ** was sketchy sorry for the uproar.

About the BoTD, i sold to akara and left game. If anyone has legit vex/zod runes i will try to trade for them tho seeing as i need a replacement botd for my barb. Ty for the help guys!

my guess is that the zod was duped as well. very very very few people have more than 1 zod and willing to trade, and you should have asked what he traded it for. since the duping it could have been a superior sash, thats what happens when zods are more common than el's.

It seems like the Tyrael's Might is legit. Yet, it does seem a little tainted from my end of the spectrum, because your friend was rerolling his botd and I do not know his character personally. Thankfully, my opinion carries no weight and all that matters is that you believe in your friend.
