Question about Iron Golem damage:
I still do not understand how the damage works on skeletons and golems because if you look at what you are summoning, the damage looks very low. For instance, I have lvl 40+ skeletons with level 40+ skeleton mastery but their damage is still in the mid-100s from looking at the actual skill. I know, however, that it increases quite a bit once my might merc has activated his aura and I've equipped my beast axe (though I have no idea what their damage actually is).
My question is whether or not an iron golem ever really gets high damage. For instance, say I make an Insight iron golem that uses an Eth CV. The damage of that weapon is higher than most, but is he still only doing about 600 base damage? Does that come out to still less than 1000 when all auras are activated?
This makes me wonder if it's worth getting a high-damage weapon for my Insight golems at all. Why not make them out of cheapo 4-socket polearms that I can find anywhere?
