Hey!

I was wondering, when you gamble for amulets and / or rings, does it matter what clvl you are? Or is there already a fixed ilvl on the rings / amulets before you can even gamble them?
And if so, does it matter where you gamble (probably act 5, hell)? Does it matter at what level you gamble?

Act doesnt matter. Only thing that matters is your clvl

+2 skill ammys take ilvl 90+ to spawn. Since gambling gives ilvl from -5 to +4 of your clvl, you need to be clvl95 to have guaranteed ilvl90+.

Yes, though they will have 1/9 chance of even being able to spawn so you'll be spending a lot of money before you start seeing any good ones.

Nitpick: 1/10 at level 86.


PS. If that's what you're after, I definitely recommend getting a few more levels before even beginning to try gambling seriously. Getting to level ** is moderately easy, and will triple your odds over level86. Level 92-93 is harder to claw to, but still worth it for the increased odds.

So you would really recommend getting to lvl92/93?

Yesterday I leveled my Zealot from level ** to level 89 (just follow some bots doing baalruns), and that tookme quite a long time. I can't imagine how long it will take me to get to level 93, or even level 95 (craftwise the best level?)

ps. an additional question: is there a cap on 'reduce vendor prices'? Currently I have a 15% edge bow and a 14% Gheeds when gambling...
