question about duels

I keep getting pwned by pallys that do this thing where they just hit me once and then it stuns me and they keep hitting me over and over again. How do I block that and how do the pallys do that? Is it an ability of some sort?

edit: there was this other pally that kept zapping me from like the sky. What ability is that?

Smite is it? Or maybe charge?

If you can block it some...its charge. Best defense against charge is stand still or walk (dont run) to maintain defense and blocking. Keep attacking. If it was smite (you see a swirly over your head), you cant block or defend against it....get away from it fast.[/quote]

This is called Fist of Heavens...possibly the most hated dueling skill out there. It will be combined with a green aura that lowers your resistances dramatically. It is lightning dmg, so the best defense against it would be a Tgods Belt (10% max lightning resists), and a 3 socket helm with 3 ORT runes in it for added lightning resistances to overcome their lower resists aura. Good luck.

(note: best way to beat FOH pallys is to wait for someone good to kill them, then kill them while they're naked .....dont really do this)

Dual claw assassins (with high level weapon block) are pretty good at blocking fists. If you're using one of those you don't need to walk. You will block anyway.

If your on west ladder and u got a poisonmancer ill duel you with my smiter, ... never been beaten by a poisonmancer, more or less ignore them because they mostly suck

clawblock is also the only thing that can block smite, but they made it slow now or some crap, so I've heard, 5 frame weapon block? assassins confirm? it used to be 2 didn't it?

Well, the poisonmancers don't suck. But maybe the persons behind the screens?
