Question about Crushing Blow, Deadly Strike, and Open Wounds.

Which one of them take priority when all 3 are bound to happen on a certain attack?

Suppose that you have a very good chance of activating Crushing Blow, Deadly Strike, and Open Wounds. As you land a hit, which one of these 3 special effects comes into play first? Crushing Blow followed by Deadly Strike followed by Open Wounds? Any other sequence? Or does the activation of the most prioritized special effect cancel out the supposed activation of the other 2? (that suppose the Crushing Blow has the top priority, its being triggered off on your attack cancels out Deadly Strike or Open Wounds, both supposedly bound to happen as well).

I don't think so. They are applied separately.

Yes they're applied separately, but the order for calculating CB & DS does have some effect - even if the damage is applied within the same frame.

For the first reason, since CB removes a percentage of a monsters life, if CB is calculated from the monster's life before DS-damage has been removed, the amount of CB damage will be higher than if it's calculated for the monster's life after DS-damage has been removed.

Second, converse to that, leech is based on the amount of life removed from the monster (not the total calculated damage), and leech is influenced by DS - but not by CB. So if you have 10% leech and do 10k damage against a monster with only 1000 life, you'll only leech 100 points for that blow, and not 1000. If the killing-blow has both CB & DS damage, having DS applied/calculated first would result in more leech.

OpenWounds is damage-per-frame, and therefore the vast majority of its damage happens after CB & DS.

Other than that, I can't really answer the questions. It's possible in both cases that since the damage comes in the same frame for both CB & DS attacks, that they both start with the monster's 'full' life at the start of that frame in their calculations. I don't know how the game calculates & applies damage.

To be honest, I don't think it's that important. More of each is always better - it's as plain as that. If the monster you attack dies, it shouldn't really matter too much if it was CB, DS, or OW damage that did the trick.

They can all happen together, but CB comes first. The order of DS and OW doesn't matter.
