    Question About ATMA Drop Calculator

While I was checking out the probability of a Boss creature dropping Gris's (I love that set but its so rare!) Weapon and it lists a few monsters that are called Defilers. Is this some kind of secret monster or something? I am completely lost about this lol.

There the pointless things in WSK and nillys temple. They dont do much, are slow and have no special dangerous attack. Also, not many of them in large groups, so kinda pointless for MFing.

all they really do is put those pain/anguish worms into other critters.

appearently some genius at Bliz coded them all as bosses for purposes of drops

Actually they are 'bosses'. If you listen to the NPC's in act 5 one of them says about a floating monster in the background directing his troops.

so they are like captains or some such.

The coding for bosses is also intentional, defiler-class monsters cannot be revived since their special abilities would be unbalancing for reviving necromancers...
