qlvl / TC

For arachnids needs a qlvl of 87, and a TC63. Would I be able to find this in a level 85 area such as "Ancient Tunnels"?

For death fathom needs a qlvl of 81, and a TC87. Would I be able to find this in a level 81 area?

Also I'm looking for a high level area that has many monsters and few cold immunes besides Ancient Tunnels.

Arachnid mesh can be found in the Ancient tunnels from a champion, boss, or minion, but noone else there.

You'd be able to find the Death Fathom in Ancient Tunnels, but i'm unsure what tc mlvl 81 monsters drop.

For reasons known only to Some Dude At Blizzard, the TCs for basic melee monsters have very slightly different levels than those of all other regular monsters. One of the differences happens to be that the respective Act 5 (H) A TCs are level 82 for melee and 81 for all others. Which means a mlvl 81 melee monster can only drop up to TC81, while other mlvl 81 monsters can drop up to TC84. Neither can drop TC87.

However, champion and boss monsters and minions in a level 81 area will be mlvl 83/84, and so they will drop from their repsective Act 5 (H) B TCs, which go all the way up to TC87 - although, only a weak chance at TC87. You need mlvl 85 to get the good TC87 chance.

So mlvl 85 = TC87?

Does qlvl do anything in finding items?

I've dropped an Arachnid Mesh on Hell Mephisto some days ago :clap: ! IMHO, the best MF place to get an Arachnid !
