Q-Unit Any of you listen to it? I got hooked after hearing a bit over at Penny-Arcade. It is a Queen/50 Cent Mash up, very interesting and very well done. I won't link because of lyrics, but a google search with bring up the page where you can download all the songs from the artist.
Yeah, that's good stuff. It's especially fun if you go find the Queen fansite forums where the guys are going totally nuts over the fact that 50 CENT RUINED OUR FAVORITE MUSIC HE MUST DIE even though it was some Dutch dude who mixed it all up. Now I need to go listen to some "Bohemian Wanksta."
I think what this really proves is that the toneless, same-sounding, waffling lyrics modern hip-hop "artists" do while completely ignoring the instrumentals would have equal success if put on top of any music.
The music that I like is vastly more cultured than the music that you like. Also, my father can beat up your father.
Ordinarily I'd decry the fact that some dumbarse who can't sing is talking over a great song, but I've seen those hip-hop losers do that to so many great tunes that I've become inured to it. Sir, I demand satisfaction. Hungry Hungry Hippos at two paces, at sunup!
