Q about -X Monster defence per hit or -X% defence

Q about -X Monster defence per hit or -X% defence

I know ITD does not work on the Uber 3. But how about - X% defence (like Eth rune) or -X Monster defence per hit (such as Stone Crusher)?

If they work, then obviously we can play around Eth runes with crushing blow for the Uber Tristam, on top of smiter.

Conviction aura (reducing target def by x%) worked fine with DC so I guess that all reducing def stuff/skills should work with other ubers as well. I belive though that super unique monsters have 50% cap for def reduction. I´m not sure about it - second opinion will be apiciated

-X% defence and -X defence per hit both work against the ubers.

-X% defence is cut in half. (150% becomes 75%)
-X defence per hit stacks normally.
