PvP WW Sin - Trang's Gloves Or these Blood Gloves?

    Hey Guys,
I'm building a C/C PvP WW Sin. I was thinking of using Trang's gloves for the 25% psn skill dmg (as I will be using venom) but I just crafted a pair of blood gloves that seem pretty good.

    Plague Finger
    Vampirebone Gloves
    Defense: 57
    Required Strength: 50
    Required Level: 52
+2 To Martial Arts (Assassin Only)
    Adds 1-6 Fire Damage
    3% Life Stolen Per Hit
    9% Chance of Crushing Blow
    +1 To Dexterity
    +15 To Life
    +18 To Mana

here they are as well http://www.littlemonkey.ca/diablo/asn-bloodg.jpg

So I don't really know, but I'm still leaning towards Trang's gloves simply because the +25% bonus that it will give to my venom will always be there as opposed to the crushing blow (only 9% of the time) As wel the life steal of only 3% won't be very noticeable.. Anyway that's just was I was thinking .. I have to admit I'm fairly new to sin's .. I only have one other one PvM lvl 80 or so .. and this one is my first PvP one.. so any comments would be appreciated.

    Thanks Guys.

Trangs definatly it grants a good increase on Venom. Crushing Blow will do little for you in PvP although those made nice .9 gloves i'de sell something like that for some gold.

Draculs are very usless for any WW'er Life Tap does not cast while WWing and i belive the Open Wounds does not stack onto the claw.

Yes, the open wounds does stack onto the claw. I'm not quite sure where you read that, but you can test it with any barb just to be 100% sure, grab gloves & gore riders and you will cast open wounds.

A side note: that blood glove is good for DT sins. For WW sins, you must get one with 10%CB and that +MA does not help you.

if thats the case, would i be doing more damage when aiming for 100% OW rather than boosting my poison damage with trangs and bramble?
lets just say my opponent has full poison resist...

Yes of course, that is why I use them. It is pointless to focus all of your damage on 1 type of damage, especially poison since it can be easily resisted. I always enjoy laughing at WW sins that use Bramble & Trangs glove and then get wasted in 1 hit when they figure out that it will do no damage agianst natalays armour and maxed resists.

    heh, thanks for the reply...
after making my ww sin ive been reading a lot about trangs and bramble, and thought that i had maybe made a mistake in choosing a different route.

    my gear atm...

    guillames face
    highlords
nats armour with 3 x 5/5 poison facets
    draculs grasp
    verdungos
    shadow dancers

just want to ask about 2 items:

should i change my shadow dancers to gore riders?

and im thinking about using my CoA with 2 bers instead of the guillames face so that i can get close to full pdr. i guess i could use the resists as well...

If you have eneough points in fade and shadow skills you won't need all that stacked damage reduce. If you use a Crown of Ages (I do) then that should be every bit of damage reduce that you need. 35-36-37 fade is not hard to achieve. The ideal way is to use fade since you have practically no resistances from your gear and that really leaves you no choice but to use it.

    Ideal gear is:

    ShadowDancer
Belt of choice (I chose thundergods)
    Draculs' Grasp
    Natalayas' Armour 3 PSN facets
    MetalGrid
Crown of Ages 2 PSN facets
1 Ravenfrost and 1 Ring of choice (I chose 2 RavenFrosts for the AR and +Dexterity to wear my equipment)
Chaos Claw & Fury Claw, plus a Jade Talon socketed with UM for elemental users (I find myself using that as my backup claw more often than fury when fighting in public duels. Whenever I 1:1 agianst melee definately Fury instead of the Jade.)

This should give you a good idea of what to look for in equipment.

This is what I do. There are basically three different levels of venom with trang gloves, first you can have trang gloves on all the time for the most venom dmg, 2nd you can power up venom and then switch to your other gloves, 3rd you can just not use trang gloves.

My ww/MA sin uses trangs to power up venom and then switch to Draculs, I have lvl 40 venom with my 2X+3 shadow disc claws on switch, and I gain about damage when I power up and then put the draculs on.

    I hope this helps you,

Bah might as well include my gear. .

Shael Guillaumes or however you spell it
    Highlords
    Chaos
    Eth Bug Bartucs
COH or Toothrow for mele (I get 100% open wounds then :))
Power up with trangs and then use draculs
    2X20 dex ravens
    Gore riders
    T-gods
    9X30+ life shadow disc GC's
    12% FHR shadow disc gc

2X +3 Shadow disc claws on switch to power up venom/fade/shadow master/cloak of shadows

    My resistances are 75/75/85/75

I also have a 3 ort helm in stash for fohers and a 3 thul helm for blizzard sorcs
