PvP whirlwind assassin help.

Decided I'd make a wwsin just for kicks because I'm getting bored with my libby.

My gear thoughts:

Headgear:
Crown of Ages (Cham + 15REQ/xx%LR jewel)

Armor:
Breast Plate Enigma

Claw 1:
Chaos

Claw 2:
Fool's ____ of Quickness (+wof staffmod) (UmUm)

Gloves:
Trang's Claws

Boots:
Rare Dual Res/FHR rares

Belt:
Arachnid's Mesh SW sash

Ring 1: Rare FCR/AR/Life/Res ring

Ring 2: Rare FCR/AR/Life/Res ring (Dwarf/Wisp/Ravenfrost)

Amulet: +2sin/10FCR/Life/Res amulet

That's the gear, any suggestions?

If I were you, I'd build a Ravenfrost into your build. They give 20dex which help equipping claws, CBF which frees up a socket in CoA, and 200+ AR which help with WW obviously. That only means you need to change your ammy to a 2/15fcr to reach the 65fcr breakpoint (right now you have 5 extra fcr).

Also, idk what your skill allocation is, but make SURE to put 1 base point in WoF and don't depend on your staff mods to grant you it. If you ever change your claws and find better ones without WoF, you'll kick yourself. WoF is a necessity and only requires 2 points (1 for prereq).

Also, it's cool that you're using CoA, but with your current setup, thats a str req of 174, which is a major hassle since you won't wanna build in fcr rings with str so you can swap dwarf/wisp. Think about either using a Circ and Dungos or Shako and Spider. Shako and Spider gives the most life, but Circs can have cool mods, as well as life rep from Dungos.

Also note that most casters have VERY low defense, and in a lot of cases versus sorcs, necros, and druids especially, Fury will serve you better than Fools Claw.

That's just some basic stuff I noticed for now. There's always more improving that can be done to any sin, but I guarantee you'll do fine any build you choose, it looks like you have a good grasp of what you're doing.

if you're building a pure ww sin, you don't need to wear a dungos with your circlet. you'll have more than enough DR with all that fade, and you'll still have extra points.

I was thinking about a circlet setup. But some rare circlets are costing arms and legs these days...

How much is a +3shadow/20fcr going for?

That's besides the point.

So if I went with a setup similar to:
Rare Circlet (20FCR)
Rare Amulet (10FCR)
Chaos Claw
Fury Claw
Arachnid's Mesh
Enigma
Trang's Claws
2 x Ravenfrost (only one ring built in for pubbie switch)
Rare Tri-Res/FHR boots

That would be 70FCR (dont want to try and get a 15fcr amulet, too expensive IMO)
Minimum of 30FHR (charms to make up to 48FHR, yet I've been told 30FHR may suit my play style, all depending on how I use the sin)

How am I looking?

EDIT: That looks like one rad amulet mang, I'll hit you up on D2 for it sometime soon. :afro:

The only problem with that setup is that you lack DR from your gear. But I guess you'll do fine as long as you have slvl 42 Fade.

Why FCR Amu and a second raven?

Go for Maras as Amu (2 extra levels of BO and nice resists), and then get a nice fcr ring with AR mana and res.

Will be better overall coz otherwise the second Raven is literally just giving you some AR and mana as you can't build the dex in.

my $0.02....

i would only ever contemplate using a CoA on a 'sin again IF (and only IF) i craft the godliest 2'sin/20fcr amulet on battlenet.

and then only maybe. imho: circlet > coa in 99.99999999999etc% of cases.

Why 20 FCR? Anything 15+ would do...

I've tried COA, Shako, and godly circlets. I personally prefer a Giant Skull socketed with 2 5/5 poison facets, mainly because I find knock back with ww extremely useful in duels. Then again I use a pure bramble wwsin and rarely rely on traps when I duel unless I go up against hammerdins.
