um....

i dont really care for the use of exile. its quite bm and dumb and besides, how are u gonna get 50 dr with exile? unless you use a Shaftstop, you can't.

here is my setup, not made yet, just ideas i had...

8 Frame Attack setup.

120/45ias helm of whale.
Non Eth Valor 40/15ias.
SS Cham
Angelic ammy
Angelic Ring x2
Steelrends
E.BoTd War Spike.
Verdungo
War Trav.

on switch.
+5 Holyshield weapon with HoZ.

This gives 120 ias (110 needed for max fps veng with warspike.)

50 Dr exactly.

and you would only need like..125 or 130 str base for this to work. Also probably like 70-75 base dex and rest for vita. So you should end up with a lot of vita.

Defense isn't a concern with me. This build is more of a glass cannon idea then a tanking. whY would u want to tank when u do one swing only each click... that seems sort of dumb. i would want to hit, hit , and get the duel over with fast.

Hopefully like 20-30k Ar with my zealot charms. But i dont think it will cuz fant added ar and im not using fant.

as for skills i am gonna do.

i might change RL to RC but im not sure yet. Do most people have Low Cold resist? or Low Light?

the defense i stated comes from perfect items, perfect eth glitched valor, perfect eth superior vortex exile (which i doubt exists in this realm) and such. it is very possible to obtain 47k defense even with as little as 10 points into defiance. and no, your build wouldnt beat mine, mine does have 46% Dr which is good enough and also the fact of the matter is that, without exile, you WILL fail, i can guarantee it.

exile sucks for an avenger, plain and simple. an ethereal zoded alma, hoz, or even dragonscale all over similar advantages with superior bonuses. another thing...quit wasting the time thinking an ed/ias jewel is the way to go. If its in your weapon, all well and good. If its not, then you are wasting the ed. non weapon ed does NOT work with vengeance. Plus damage does. You would be better off with ias/resist/ar/+damage jewels. travs are good boots, steel rends are horrible. 20 ias gloves with mods are much better. Lavagouts are an excellent option here for the added fire damage, too. a valor would be an okish armor, there are better. I would think a stone would offer more advantages, besides just being plain cheaper. resist all/fhr/big defense/plus stats. I don't see your valor offering much here. Otherwise, there are other armors that would work. I don't know if I would go 8 or 9 frame. Frankly, both have their advantages. I think you need to check some of your facts before you go figuring, bub.

I am up for options here. I got another thread open asking about a great pvp pally build. My Pally is lvl 42 no stats or skills picked yet, and I am down with this build. I do not have time left to fool around, so with enough researching, and reading this thread I will start on my paly. The items you guys have listed are expensive to me, but I can get them. Whoever can put the time into this build, I will def. give it a damn shot. Whoever could help please state it.

P.s. As 1 suggestion, I do not think maxing hold sheild is neccasary. I heard 10 is all it would really need.

It seems like using fanat instead of conviction is more the way to go for pvp.

2000% damage mixing phys and elemental has got to be hard to combat, plus you don't have to sacrifice anything for ias, and you get a sizeable ar boost.

To lovely: you can get good dr with coa, but I can't say it's worth it. Shako is much better in this case.

Now as for barb... I think it's a little TOO cocky for you to say anything about his build (considering it's still being tweaked) losing to yours. Considering the fact that you are obviously a pub dueler, you don't seem to know much about vengeance. First of all, why would exile be so great? It's a lot harder to get good dr, and the fact is, since vengeance doesn't really have a lot of physical damage (from fana or a dmg aura), it really doesn't leech all that much. Come to think of it, you won't be hitting that much either, since the idea is to do as much damage as possible since you have a slow attack. Not only would it not cast often (since when you hit you hit to kill), it won't help you much if it does, since your physical damage isn't all that great anyhow.

Now, about that guarantee. If you come over to west (or open) and he or any other melee pally build beats the living crap out of you, will you fulfill your guarantee? Perhaps a few runes will suffice.

Well the Reviews are in. it seems that a pvp venger is NOT viable.

the attackrating is too low, and you hit almost never.

the patch killed it with the CAP on conviction. Before it took out a HUGE chunk of defense with the resistance, now the defense isn't enough therefore you dont hit nearly as much as hope'ed for.

If anyone else has a thought on this post it here..

Btw i got some of the info from various pala on west who told me stuff..

Lol, I told you before, I would have came West if I knew temple existed ... I quit a long time ago, and came back, and before I quit East was where all the temple duels were at ... maybe once this ladder season ends, I have absolutely nothing on West :clap:
