PvP summomancer: Beast Runeword or Leoric?

well im starting a summonmancer and this is the question Beast Runeword or Leoric?

at lvls 45 (raise skeleton and skeleton mastery), that 5 extra points into raise skeleton allow 2 extra sekeltons and the 5 points into skeleton mastery increase their damage by loads.

However beast adds a nice aura to all the skellies (fanaticism lvl 9)

so is the aura worth lvl 49 raise skeleton +skeleton mastery or would the skellies do bettter overall whilst using Leoric?

I can't give comments on PvP, but for playing you would use both: raise your skellies with the arm, then switch to beast.

well no because you lose skellies when u switch i ve tried it with CTA - U raise 17, however when u switch - u are left with 15

So what? These skellies still have the high stats.

As I said, I don't know a thing about PvP --- if you absolutely need the highest number possible, then switching to beast is obviously not an option. However, since you actually ASKED whether to use AoKL or Beast, I assumed that Beast AND strong skellies are an option.

Think of it the other way: instead of using Beast only, raising the skeletons with the Arm and THEN switching to beast means you get the same number as with a beast-only setup, but the skellies will be better. So, if you want to use Beast, prebuffing the skellies will still improve things.

Like already said... CtA on self, raise with AoKL, then cta on skeles, then Beast. Remember to use a wiz/hoto/whatevah fcr weap vs. casters though.

Use in this order

AOKL - Raise your army with the prebuff high slvl

CTA - Use warcries BO etc on yourself and group.

BEAST - Use this while fighting as it gives Fanat aura. Couple this with Might merc and your set.

When you use Warcries it boosts everyone in your group.

So that includes yourself and minions at the same time.

ie Battle Command - To get the +skill first, then BO - to boost everyone Hp.

In that way you are now free to switch between CTA and BEAST when you fight. You have already got the higher stats for the remaining minons.

Do not overlook BattleCry -(from CTA) as it works in PvP as well.

Yea that's exactly what I meant - first using cta to gain the +1 skills. Didn't mean the BO.. I never excluded the AoKL or Beast.

Raise with AoKL
BC and BO (dunno if the bc is necessary though )

you may have a point but i am not sure if BC will last while u switch as it a aura. It would be the better option if you dun lose Bc on the switch as it also has a duration. :thumbsup:

Battle Command an aura? That's new to me.. I never knew that the barbarian has auras in his warcry tree :uhhuh:

Tested it anyways, and no you don't lose BO or BC when you remove CtA from either one of your hands..
