    PvP Specific Pally

I looked through the Pally Guides thread, but didn't see a PvP specific build. Are there any out there? If not, what is the suggested PvP build? I don't want to be a Hammerdin or FOHer, though. Which melee skill is preferred?

Zealots suck pvp. The ultimate pvp pala is a vindi/temp. FOH/smite.

I dunno... its just so easy to stack resists against foh. Overall I like the liberator better.

Ok, I'm not quite rich enough to get Enigmas and BotDs right now, so Liberator seems out of the picture. Are there any Smite guides anywhere? If not, can someone give me a bit of an idea as to what I'd do to make an effective PvP Smiter. I had a .09 Smiter, but that was a long time ago.

They definetly do not suck, but they have a hard time dueling a v/t.

You know, enigma and botd isn't a must to make a liberator. If you can't afford those, use shaft and any decent damage one-hander. The Kingslayer runeword isn't that hard to get....

I'd agree right here. With the introduction of 1.1, MANY people whine, *****, and moan about smite and rarely, foh. BOTH are EASY to beat, provided you aren't a noob (which of course, well you get the picture) and you can use a little brain power. They are relatively good in the pvp scene now, but other melee classes can beat smite. Smite isn't as godly as everyone makes it out to be. It's just because no one can beat it yet that it's so called godly. Smite is easily beatable by the experienced.

    lol

i dont even use a botd.. so dont' u worry..

    other options are..

Unique Razor Edge Tomahawk Eth Zod 200+ed

    Famine Zerk

    Stormlash

    Shaffers

CmsE, CcsE, CmsB, CcsQ etc.. with Lo Lo Um or Lo Lo 40/15max.

as for nigma. its not a requirement. its just something that works if you want to get 2000+ life fairly easy

the ONLY melee class that can beat my smiter is another good smiter. Possibly a very, very godly barb. Any other melee build is crushed. Even 52k dmg rabies druids.

a good fury wolf, zealot, dual claw assassin, or ww barb can all take out smiters with reasonable efficiency, assuming they are properly equipped and have *attack rating.* On the flipside, a vindi/temps greatest asset is his versatility. they expect foh, and you smite, they expect smite, and you charge. They expect conviction, and you freeze, get the picture? All you have to do to take out most classes is hit a hotkey and whammo, you are another build entirely, each with its own, separate playstyle. If you wanted to try a different build for pvp, then you could try an avenger.

I suggest taking a look at cyrus avenger guide. It gives a lot of good details, but I would suggest tweaking it for pvp. Pm me for details.

a V/T is the most versatile PvP paladin there is right now

It can handle Hammerdin Variant too...

Pure Templar is good as well depends on which supporting aura you using.

Highly doubtful. If you are on west I can get someone to show you the hard way. (Though he's not exactly a friend) I'm sure I could piss him off enough to kill you. :)
