PvP Kicker help...
I have decided that I might be leaving D2 for a little while as I phase into my college life (entering this fall :smiley:, since I don't start until mid-September it's all cool). However, as a little farewell, I figured that I might go ahead and enter the PvP scene. I kinda wanted something unique, that isn't often seen. I decided on the Assassin, but I figured WW variants were out of the question (they require a LOT of skill, or so I hear) and I'm not a big fan of Trapsins...so my eye now looks towards Kickers. This will 99% chance be on NL due to the lack of the appropriate items on Ladder...
My skill selection seems to be thus:
20 Venom
8 Dragon Talon
20 Mind Blast
1+ (rest?) Lightning Sentry
1 Wake of Fire
1+ (rest?) Dragon Flight
20 Shadow Master
With the planned gear this becomes:
30 Venom
18 Dragon Talon
30 Mind Blast
21+ (rest?) Lightning Sentry
21 Wake of Fire
30 Shadow Master
Here is my planned gear:
Shako 'Um' or 'Shael', depending on my needs
Crafted/Rare with FCR/resists
Enigma
Fleshripper 'Um'
Stormshield / 'Spirit' Monarch (vs casters)
Rare ring with FCR/resists
Raven Frost
Arachs
Trang gloves
upp Gores
Anni+Torch
I don't know if I can get skillers so I didn't include them...I hope they're not necessary for NL dueling...I can get the 'basic' charms to hit the rest of my breakpoints/other things like FCR or resists.
How does this look? And, more importantly, any tips or strategies from the vets?
