Hi, just wanted to ask some things about PvP fire sorces.

1) Should I go for max block with a Stormshield? It takes many points in strength and dex that means less to vitality..
or is it better to go with for example lidless and much vitality instead, I know it depends on what I will be dueling,
but overall which is best in youre opinion?

2) Equipment?
Weapon: I have a eschutas +3 skills, 20% to fireskill with a 5/5 fire facet
Armor: I gonna try to trade for a fireball ormus, is that expensive, if it is I just get any Ormus with +15% to fireskills.
Shield: Question #2
Gloves: Magefist.
Boots: hmm dont really know, maybe Waterwalks, suggestions?
Belt: Arachnid or is there better options?
Jewellery: Really dont know, Sojs I think.. but amu?
Helm: Shako?

3) Should I take one of this cold armors (Frozen, Shiver, Chilling)? Or does this take to much skillpoints? Because to get max fire dmg it takes much skillpoints.

Does this look good, tell me youre opinion pls.

1) IMO the best is going for maxblock with whitstans guard (low str and low dex)

Armor: You should either go for the 200 bp or for the 115 bp, if you go for 200 i think viper is better for its 30% fcr against the 20% from ormus
Jewelry: Again : for 200 bp : fcr rings and otherwise sojs
200 bp : Rare or crafted with fcr Other : Maras

3) get a orb with +to SHIVER armor and use that on switch or keep it in stash for melee chars

i dislike stormshield because of the high requirements, however if you do use it try putting a hel or a -15% requirement jewel in it. there are lots of great other shields i think you should take a look at (for example) up'ped visceraunt, or sanctuary (in towershield/trollnest).

for your boots, waterwalks have a nice little life bonus, but i would prefer sandstorm treks for the +str and fhr.

for your jewelry, soj's are good, if you have no other source of "cannot be frozen" then use a ravenfrost. for your amulet, mara's is nice, so are crafted caster amulets :drool:

about the orb with +armors, you won't get much defense from a +5 shiver armor (2 to cold, 3 to shiver armor orb), personally i'd say its best you just drop one point into an armor and let your +skills do it. with your equipment you can easily get it over 10.

How can the 200 bp be achieved? All I can think off atm is wizzy(50), gloves(20), caster rings(20), arach(20), viper(30),lidless(20) = 160 I thought circlets only could get up to 20% and amu's to 10% so how would you get it?

EDIT: just found out that on a caster amulet the 5-10% fcr is a fixed stat, so if it's perfect and it has a apprentice suffix it would be enough I guess.

its very hard to achieve but if you can,you can get a great firesorc if you know how to handle her

I think I go the vita way instead of max block..

One q more.. how do everybody get so high fireball dmg? :S
I hear people talking about 13k balls..

13k should be easy , my sorc makes 10k , and she maxed hydra instead of meteor

I belive its much better to go for viper instead of no-fireball-15%fire ormus.. That 15% will be just a tiny addition to fire mastery, while each and every skill point in fireball will increase its damage dramatically on high levels. I'd say: either a fireball ormus with crap % if perf is too expensive or no ormus at all.

Ok.. I think I go with my upg UMed Viper instead then.. I thought 15% wolud do much dmg :S
