pvp fire sorc. ultimate :O

im planning to make a final char for d2 after i finish my liberator. (which is looking mre like a hammerdin keke)

anyways
i was thinking of making the PERFECT fire sorc (other than fire skill lifers hehe, amybe i can fit in a couple of those)

anyways its late and i would like someone to critique my build:

this build is basing itself on the 105% fcr break point which i think is 8 frames. not too sure lol

ber'd winstons guard
bere'd shako
15% resist wiz spike
dusk coh
verdungos or arach depending on matchup
+2 sorc skill 20% fcr ammy with resist
2 fcr rings with stats and mana
magefists
rare boots with resist/stats/ fhr

charms will be 10 fire skillers with possibily second mods
anny
9 scs of vita with various resist.

sanctuary shield in stash. with 3 dragon shields socketed with gems according to resist. (dragon shield with 4 p topaz fot lightning resist)

stats:
stregth:enough for coh dusk
dex: enough for max block
vita: rest

this will give me:

49% dr
max resist in hell and even more when stacking against other sorcs.
110% fcr which will give me 8 frames right?
75% block
and the damage will look like.. ioono but im guessing around 18k+ since im missing skillers from my weapon/rings.

Iirc, dragon shields only get 3 sockets. So you'll need either monarchs (156 str req) , aegis(219str) or wards(185str req) if you want to have 4*gem/rune. Other then that, the build looks fine. Your only problem will be overabsorbers as usual, as soon as my sorc enters a game and they notice she's using fire, the "good" (read, duellers with some knowledge) duellers all suddenly go to their stash and poof, my 10K fireball is hardly scratching them. Good druids and cold sorcies will hurt too, but other than that I haven't had any problems so far with any class (although my sorc has only duelled in pubs so far, so there aren't really any good duellers. Proof: I'm using tal belt+armor+amu and I'm still winning most of my duels).

I've been playing a fb sorc for some time now. And I must say that a good thing to do would be to get ES, and instead of ber runes in ur armors, use x/-5 facets (5/-5 if perfect).
And if you want to be a really nasty f*cker, get 200% fcr. Some say that you loose to much on 200 fcr. Like maxblock, for 200 fcr you need lidless, and to go with maxblock in a lidless would be insane :lol:

But if you want to go with maxblock, just skip some fcr. But one thing that you really need is -% fire res (as much as possible). I'd recommend a 3sock headhunters with 3*5/-5 fire facets...
Just make sure that you still have max res. :thumbsup:

EDIT: Oh, forgot to mention, fhr. I usually aim for 86% fhr. Sandstorm treks helps alot here (get a eth pair for less str req). Some fire skillers with fhr, and maybe a vita sc with fhr.

Eh I think you're wasting those bers. Won't they be more effective on a non block chars since they'll get hit way more anyways? So how about socketing them w/ facets? Also try getting 86 fhr from charms like Qual suggested. I don't think you should go 200 fcr because you need to sacrifice a lot of gear to reach it.

P.S. I was just dueling a lidless fb sorc w/ my wwsin, and she blocked 2 hits in a row. What's the chances of that?

well the thing is my sorcs always have max block/dr just in case. caster killer barbs are fierce and so are wwsins. that lidless sorc got lucky on you
i was actually thinking that my damage will be too low so i wa sthinking +3 fireball ormus with facet and since that'll give me 20% fcr i can switch my fcr rings back to sojs which till give me +5 more to fireball and a 15% fire damage increase.

man dont worry.You will kill and prob own many games.Uve got great gear for an fb sorc. {10 times better than mine :thumbsup: } i someday hope to get my hands on a coh but its not lookin like anytime soon :lol:

haha jman the gear listed.. i really dont have all of it. only parts of it. things like the fire gcs and coh and omrus 3 ball.. those are just dreams
ive quit for the mean time but im planning on a fire sorc when i get back in so just lookn for some inputs
