PvP Daggermancer

FOREWARNING: This is NOT a build. This is a MENTAL EXPERIMENT, based upon my rudimentary knowledge of Diablo II. I have never owned or earned an Enigma, Breath of the Dying, or other rich equipment. I'm technically a noob.

I have been recently investigating the viability of a daggermancer. When mentally designing him, I realized that even if a person was able to hit an opponent with some massive poison damage, they would still have to wait over 10 seconds for the full effect to happen, leaving them open to a multitude of different attacks from which almost all would be fatal, as this experimental build focusing on getting the highest possible poison damage. I believe I have found a remedy though; combining max block and 110% faster run/walk speed to avoid just about everything while the poison slowly eats them away.

To start off, I think I should list the skills used.
--Poison Dagger: 20 (most necessary, main skill)
--Poison Nova: 20 (synergy)
--Poison Nova: 20 (synergy, also a potential backup skill)
--Teeth: 1-20 (depending on your +skills, you want to get as many teeth as possible to pick off that last point of health)

The rest is up to you. If you want to get a golem or some other skill, go for it.

Next is some stats.
--Strength: For the gear I am planning to use, 106 will be sufficient. The weapon for this necromancer will be worthless in melee combat, as only the poison will deal the damage.
--Dexterity: VERY important. A minimum of ** for gear, but honestly get this as high as possible. You absolutely REQUIRE max block and AR, as blocking will be one of two sources of defense and AR allowing you to run in, hit once or twice, and KNOW that your poison will hit.
--Vitality: Also important. Any extra points go here to hopefully brace yourself against any attacks that manage to hit you (like pesky blizzards).
--Energy: Not important. I'm not a good build builder, but I don't think any points need to go here at all. Simply apply poison dagger. You might need a little if you find that you need to spam teeth a lot.

Now for some gear. Note that this isn't my strong spot either.
--Weapon: Now, I'm sure there are some wonderful weapons out there that are uber-expensive and godly, but from my poor perspective I see a Exceptional Unique Dagger called Blackbog's Sharp. Why is it any good? It has terrible damage, but remember, we're not looking for damage. It has +5 to poison dagger, and +4 to poison nova and explosion. I do not believe that the points into nova and explosion will give you synergy bonuses, but the +5 to poison dagger is priceless, in my opinion.

--Body Armor, Helm, Gloves, Belt, and Shield: It may sound noobish, but Trang-Oul's really looks nice. I mean, you could replace some of the pieces with some uber-godly items if you wanted too, but with all the +skills and +poison damage and -poison resistance, it is just really, really appealing.

--Amulet: I am split here. Speed is essential in order to dodge stuff, but so is +skills. When this build (if ever) is made, if it appears that additional speed is required, then go with the Cat's Eye for +30% FRW. If not, go with Mara's Kaleidoscope for +2 skills.

--Rings: This is entirely up to circumstance. Facing a cold sorc? Raven Frosts. Lightning Amazons? Wisp Projectors. Fire? Dwarf star. General enemies? Stones of Jordan.

--Boots: I am sure one is out there, but until I find it go with Natalya's Soul for +40% FRW. Combined with Trang-Oul's Scales and Cat's Eye, you should have 110% faster run and walk speed. Zoom.

Ok, that's enough. I am sure that some of the more experiened members on this forum will appear and point out some obvious flaws that could potentially ruin the whole idea, but at least I tried. Your poison damage should be at or over 20k in around 15 seconds, so poke with dagger, spam nova if you want, and then run, run, run to avoid stuff, and then throw teeth everywhere. Enjoy, and please critique!
