pvp blizz/es sorc

i am thinking of making a pvp blizz sorc that will use es so she can tank a few more hits then an all vit sorc would beable to. Ill be using an all vit build im just not sure of what my skill points should look like her gear is the following

perf blizz ormus with 5/5 facet
perf fathom 5/5 facet
perf nightwing 5/5 facet
perf sanc
arach mesh
2 sojs
rare sorc/fcr ammy
treks
mage fist
perf cta on switch
and 10 cold skillers
9x 20/18 charms
and 1 perf anni

does this set up sound good?

all i really need help with is the skill points thx for your time

first of all, es is applied b4 res so sanc wont do much, unless you think you can tank 20k fireballs and 30k lightnings go with a lidless, for es go max telek but 1 point into es it self.

1 pt into es, isnt that 20% absorb only though? or you depend on +skills items for the rest? it would need lv20 according to my strat book for 75% absorb?

lvl 1 es + 3 from fathom 2 from nw 1 from arach 2 from sojs 2 from ammy 1 from cta and 1 from anni = lvl 13 = 78% i think the strat book is before 1.10 patch

looks like my blizz sorc :surprise: (refer to my avatar), cept im not es.

i'd say max blizzard, telekenesis, cold mastery (or get it up to -100% after +skills from items), glacial spike, then drop as many points as possible into the other blizz synergies, 1 into ES, teleport, and warmth.

This build is kinda uncommon... the only reason is because Blizz is as strong as it is due to all its lovely synergies... sadly, when using ES you won't be able to fill them out as much, and will lack in dmg. I think the build is viable, but unless your strongly into this idea, Orb is probly a better alternative to Blizz, since it only has one synergy.

Plus... I think its more fun :lol:

Sartox, thats where you're wrong, with his set up i think he would bevery rich, this build is acualy very powerful with 10 skillers, if my calculations are right i would still think u can rach 10k with this set up, more then enough to kill many in 1 or 2 hits.

Very true... but what is the sacrifice to ES like? You may have a lvl 20 TK which is easy because its all about hard points... but even with the uber gear she has, there isn't that much +sorc skills, rather than +cold skills. This will give you a big dmg on the Blizz for sure, but I just think that since the lvl of ES may be a little low... a blocking Blizz sorc just comes out on top.
