Str- Enough for gear
Dex- Max block with Stormshield
Nrg- Base
Vit- Rest

Stormshield (Hel or -15% req)
Shako(Um) or Jalals(Um or Shael) - Undecided
Chains of Honor or Enigma - Undecided (CoH for resist)
Arachnids Mesh
Magefist
Sandstorm Trek
Maras or 2 skills/ FCR/ resist
Raven(Cannot be frozen)
SoJ or FCR ring with resist

Act 2 Defiance Merc

I have been thinking and maybe I will go base dex(no block) and go for a lidless or rhyme.

Rhyme would be good for CBF. Not sure if it has a + skill or not.
Lidless good for +skill, mana regen.

Your skills look solid enough...although the extra points in Grizzly seems a waste...If you want your Grizzly to do some noticeable damage you really have to max it, otherwise the damage is too low to make a difference...Maybe Dire wolves for more life, and definitely 1 point in Carrion Vine..but keep in mind that it will take a looong time for you to get all those skill points.

Stormshield is very nice, for the block/damage reduction/resists...Max block is very nice and will greatly ease your way through Hell. I'd go with an Um'ed Shako and Chains Of Honor...unless you're going to MF a lot, then Enigma. Jalal's is actually a very good helm for a Wind druid, but Shako is too good to miss out on. Maybe consider a good pair of rare/crafted caster boots instead of Sandstorm Trek...they can spawn with quite godly mods.

I'd rather pick a Holy Freeze merc..but taste differs.

If you're going to go no-block you should seriously consider the Spirit runeword...it's totally awesome even if you need a lot of strength to wear it. Rhyme doesn't have +skill, and is really better suited as a MF shield switch. Also I feel that CBF isn't vital for a Wind druid, so you could get a Bul-Kathos or another Stone Of Jordan instead.

I think I will try max blocking. The only thing turning me away from it is the str requirment on the stormshield.

Do you happen to know the str of a stormshield with a Hel rune in it?
