PvM Liberators

How viable are liberators in PvM? I have been reading the guides and threads and they are all PvP based, since I play on a 56k out dated machine PvP isn't for me, so I was wondering are they viable? and if so would I need to use super rich gear or could I get by with less?

They seem like they'd be both effective and fun...

I don't see why it wouldn't be good in PvM.

You will do reasonably well in PvM, you'll need to play a little more cautiously.

Liberators mainly use Fanatacism to increase their Charge damage (well this is what my own does) - so that takes away from Concentration which increases BH damage.

However I think something like this may work:

Blessed Hammer: 20
Vigor: 20 (this synergises with charge as well)
Concentration: 20
Charge: 20
Fanatacism: 20

The rest of the points could go into Holy Shield :)

Make sure you get redemption however, and in my opinion you don't need Meditation (a pot will serve you better).

As you're playing PvP and you're equipment will need to encompass both perhaps:

Skin of Vipermagi - 30% FCR +1 Skills, Resists
Shako - +2 skills, +life, +mana, MF, DR
HoZ - casting
SS/HoZ - for charging
Frostburns - increased mana
Arachnids/SoE/Verdungo's
War Travs/Gore Rider

You could use a Wizardspike for the 75% FCR and resists, allowing you to have a different armour.

Well first of all, I have never seen a LIBERATOR using Fan.
Second. The difference beetwen Fan and Conc for charging is only AR. So it is a lot better to use some AR gear(Angelics) then to waste 20 spoints for another aura! Those points would be of better use when put into Blessed Aim to increase BH dmg and get passive +100%AR.

I agree... that's what I'd do at least. Then again, BH would be my main skill, not charge, but again - that's a personal preference.

And if 100% AR isn't enough on top of what you already have, and you don't feel like using all that AR gear (angelics/enchant/etc), get a weapon with ITD. Chances are you won't really be charging bosses too much anyway, and I'm sure in this case, the hammers will be slightly more effective for the bosses.

I'm sure LovelyGod's could provide some good input here, regardless of of the fact that his guide is PvP or not.

LOL To be truthful, when I made that post I was a wee bit out of it...and now that I've looked back I realise I had myself confused...and somehow made what I consider to be the bodgy post of the week ;)

So pls, forgive me, I made a boo-boo

PS - I got my own PvP Liberator mixed up with PvM where you CAN use Conc...bah, I feel like a twit now!
