There is no real difference between a PvP and a PvM Bonemancer guide. At least that is what Souless always said.

A lot of my friends think they're safer than summoners.

Unless you're handicapping yourself, I think all HC necros use curses.

I don't know if gorion is being serious or not with his gear setup. It looks a lot like "Let's put all the uber +skill itamz in one spot!" kinda thing.

If you're going to spend some heavy coin on your bone dude then check the PvP guides. They often take into account FHR/FCR with their gear setups.

Good point. Also, gorion, you might want to consider a perfect CTA to complement an already expensive setup...

Just a note on the Bone Armor/Wall/Prison skills.

Instead of "20 Bone Armour or Bone Prison", go with 1 Bone Armor and 19 Bone Prison. With just 1 hard point in Bone Armor, and 39 in Bone Wall and Bone Prison combined, you'd have a Bone Armor with 605 total absorb. AFIAK, that's enough to completely absorb two or three physical attacks from anything that can spawn in the entire game. And you'll still have almost maxed Bone Wall and Bone Prison.

I agree with mantis on the PvP and PvM thing. I would say the only real difference is a PvM build might have a few more curses and possibly 1 point revive, other than that a boner is a boner.

I have tried 5 differen't necro variants, multiple times and as far as safety goes, I don't think that there is possibly a safer build than a fishy. But safety can get boring, unless it's HC.
