Puzzled: What to put into my 20s CoA?

I have a pvp V/T.

Max IAS
Crazy Stacked Resists
2nd fastest FHR
2.3K Smite and 6.9K FoH

I have a Ber in my CoA already. That pits me at ~54% Damage Reduction, so I do not need to follow the typical "BerBer" idea. At the same time, a 40edam/15 max jewel won't do squat for my Smite damage. I do not need a 15/15 because I already have nicely stacked resists and godly sorb equipment. So, as the title says, I do not know what to put here...

So far the only thing I can think of is another 5/5 lite facet. I have a 25/-25 Foh stick (of course) and a Faceted Hoz on my FoH weapon switch. Another 5/5 wouldn't do a whole lot, but what other option do I have?

How about a Lo rune?

I have a Blackhorn's with a Lo rune in it if I come across a really strong Foher (other lite elems wisps+tgods is overkill). Good idea though, and one I had entertained myself

Perhaps Cham? I believe I still hit 75% Block w/o my ravenfrost, and the AR is inconsequential. That way I can throw on another 5% BK for LL, life, and a +1 all skills? That would probably benefit my FoH more than a facet anyhow, as well as my Smite dmg.

Another viable option would be Jah for the life, but my major focus here is improving my killing power...more specifically my Smite...

Maybe a -15req/15res jewel. Depends on whether you can already equip it with base str.

That way I can throw on another 5% BK for LL

1) Smite does not leech life without Life Tap.
2) Life Leech does not work in PvP except for Life Tap and against leechable minions.

The Life bonus is not boosted by BO. So it's a measly +45 at level 90. Perhaps a rare ring with Res, FCR (if you need it, I dunno), life, mana and that junk would be better. It almost always is better than a BK.

Gogo another Light Facet. You never know when someone will come along and still have 75% resist after your -res, when it could be 70% with that 1 extra Facet...

Well summoners and summon/poison are the most difficult builds to kill (always assuming namelock is a difficulty), so that would help in that instance.

Ral? I do not need more resists...at all, of any element...

BK is out anyway. The +1 skills adds about 103 dmg to Smite and 201 to FoH. A lite facet would be more beneficial.

I've begun to gravitate more towards Jah. The 5% life would be very helpful (no need mana, fcr, or resists). I can only assume that the 5% life bonus is aided by bo? If that is the case, a Jah would equate to 183 more life for me after CTA bo. The only question here is whether or not that would outweight the increased damage output a facet would provide.

depending on your base life and your bo level a pruby might add more life after bo than jah (since a ruby adds to base life it's boable). i ran a quick comparison.

the higher the bo and base life the more jah is the better option i believe. plus how cool is it to show someone your gear and have a simple pruby in one of the most expensive items in the game...after you beat them ofc.

A fhr/resist or fhr/xxxx would be cool.


A 5/5 facet would lower the resale value (unless to another foher) imho.


Hell just leave it blank for now...duel awhile and see what you're missing!

I agree, more resists never hurt, especially when fighting chars with heavy -res. Plus the fact that the str req goes from 172 to 146 means you can put 26 more points in vita.

26 vita points = 78 life for a pally. And that 78 life is BOable, giving you a lot more life than a Jah or PRuby.

So u get 2 benefits in 1.

or just use a jewel of Envy.
