    Pure Summoner

    I've tryed to look around the forum but i can't seem to find a guide for a pure summoner...

    Would help if you could add a guide or a link for one please:thumbsup:

    Hey I built my summoner using ideas from this build

    It is pretty striaght forward. Builds that are more complex can also be found on the site. Finally (Am I allowed to redirect people to other sites?). Try www.gamefaqs.com. They have TONS of builds and TONS of hints and TONS of everything. Ranging from classic to LOD from 1.09 to 1.11b. Great site, though...NO WHERE NEAR AS GOOD A THIS ONE...heh heh heh. *Wipes sweat off forhead*.

    i have a pure summoner. what i find best to do is to go for a 1 to 1 ratio with SM. meaning every other lvl put a skill into summon mastery. the other levels put the point in riase skel, skel mage (when you can get it), golem (when you get it) golem mastery (when you get it) etc. i use he 1 to 1 method until i max SM and RS. form then on i work on strengthening my golem mastery, summon resist and skel mage.

    Most people say summon resist is a big waist, but i like it. i say it you're not going to max SR then put at least 5 points into it.

    Only thing i would tell you : Hoto isnt your friend. Beast is :

    Hoto : Skills..(less dmg, no speed, more life)

    Beast : Huge ar/speed boost.

    Hoto : More life, more resists, more skills, faster cast rate etc...

    Beast: fanaticism......... and.... fanaticism?

    Given the choice, id take the much more well rounded hoto over beast.

    1) More resists : I had stacked resists without resist gcs..
    2) More skills : Right, the skelies will have more life, but less dmg/ar/ias.
    3) Faster cast rate : Uh.. i tough a pure summoner nec was good because it was his minions that kill everything quick (ias from beast...). And most of the time, you summon all ur minions to stack and tele after, so fcr isnt important.
    4) Etc.. : Nothing.

    I try both and believe me, beast is way better. Try to find on google a Pet calculator (or just ask Nec mod.) to compare hoto vs Beast dmg. U'll see...

    No i wont. I to have tried both, and i have come to beleive that resists, +skills and fcr is better. Lets see
    1. So what if you have stacked resists with gcs? Maybe other people ie. most of us want to have stacked skiller gcs. Skiller gcs = more dmg.. more life.. more skeles. :azn:
    2. +skills = more life, more skeles. ias.... its been proved that skeles have a built in pause betwen attacks, so ias does not help much. ar. skeles dont really need ar, and as long as you have infinity on merc, your skeles will always hit due to conviction. :azn:
    3. Fcr is VERY important, unless you want to tele so slow that ALL monsters get a few hits on you, once that happens you'll go into hit recovery mod etc... your dead or very wounded. Some of us want to get around fast and use teleport as a movement skill and tele stacking. With hoto, you'll never have to worry, tele into the groups with no fear and reach ur destination quickly :jig:
    4. +10 to vitality and other minor mods, better than the nothing on beast
    U'll see......... when you cant beat the ubers with beast!!! :cool:

    Res = it's good to have positive resistance and max lightning. You can do that with 11 lr scs. Other resistances don't matter as much when you're screen is filled with skeles, mages, and max revives.

    Skills = summon with AoKL, switch to Beast. The minions will retain the stats of the summon side, except for total minions. The delay is already a problem, why make it bigger by increasing their attack length as well? If you can afford infinity, you can certainly afford Beast and beast will help your minions.

    FCR = you don't need very much at all, the 42bp is enough and that's easily achieved by gloves + belt + 2fcr from another source. You're a summoner with revives. Revives stack on top of you and recieve the hits.

    Other mods = you get a bear, huge strength, in a zerker-you'll have damage so that you can actually kill carvers to start off you army. You can get a HoW from Wisp Projector.
