pure javazon questions/skill allocation

hey guys, my lvl63 javazon needs a little help!
here is her gear:
lionheart archon plate
188/9 titans
230/19 raven + rare ML ring
war travs
crafted 20ias/10%crushingblow/3%LL/11dex/10life/14fire res gloves
rhyme grim shield
rare +1 skill ama ammy
shako
t-gods

i have (after all equipped gear): 143 str | 293dex | 131 vit | 32 en |

my questions are:
1) if i want to kill uniques faster, is maxing out charged strike really the way to go?

2) is 12 base or "hard" pts into dodge, evade and avoid necessary in PvM?

3)i also see that some guides dont really like critical strike, why?

4)i currently have 728 life with everything on, should i pump more into vit?

thanks in advance!!

Here's my 2 cents.

1. Maxing out Charged Strike is well worth it. You get more damage first of all. And at higher skill points it'll add more charged bolts. So for example, lets say your Charged Strike does 1-5000 damage and releases 7 bolts. If you raise it another skill level and it releases 8 bolts then you'll effectivly add 1-5000 more damage to your attack power against single opponents.

2. D/A/E (while very nice to have) isn't as neccessary for Javazons as it is for other zons in PvM, provided she has 75% chance to block with her shield. If you're using your shield for +skills (like Lidless, Splendor, Spirit) that have lousy blocking rates, then you may want to invest more in those skills.

3. A lot of people don't raise Critical Strike past level 1 because they have to spend too many of their skill points elsewhere. (Charged Strike synergies, passives, Valkyrie, and maxed Pierce if they use Lightning Fury without a Razortail.) 1 point Critical Strike with 1 point Jab raised by +skills have handled lightning immunes very nicely for me.

4. Yes, pump Vit as much as you can. Treat Javazons like you would any other melee character: Enough str and dex for equipment and max block and everything else into vit. My past Javazons have ended up with around 1200 - 1300 life before BO.

Im curious Chipmic why do u have//adviced maxed pierce ?

at lvl 10 (as u will get from stuff) its 70% why go higher since 95% is max
70% means 7 out of ten throws btw :)

why dont put that into synergies = more dmg instead ;)

Just my humble opinion , have fun all ;)

Piercing skill can pierce through up to 4 enemies I believe and the odds at passing the javelin through all 4 at 90% + pierce is quite a bit higher than at 70% I think.

At some point in a Javazons career you have may to decide whether close combat is a sideline or the main skill. Getting the fury tree to 1/1/1/20 and the charged strike tree to 1/20 with 1 to requisites seems a good start.Having max block is another (double elded mosers?) which keeps dex requirements to a minimum bearing in mind that CS doesnt require AR to be effective against the usual bosses. Dealing with lightning immune uniques is a chapter in itself.
