Pure Fury -- Good PvM build for a newbie?

Hi! I started a Druid on East Ladder. So far he's level 16 with a lot of points in Lycanthropy, a few points in Werewolf, and one point in Poison Creeper, Carrion Creeper, and Oak Spirit, and also Feral Rage. He seems to work really very well -- far better than my Zealot-to-be at that level. If I continue down this path and ignore FC and Rabies, will I have a lot of trouble with physical-immune creatures in the end-game? I'm guessing it is hard to find items I'd need to work around them.

Also, how important is Life (Oak Spirit, Lycanthropy) in PvM? Most guides seem to advocate Life over damage, but then most guides are for PvP. I certainly feel safer with lots of health, but...?

Thanks for any input.^^

You can take care of physical immunes with a few different methods.

either put a reapers toll on mercenary and let him nuke the monsters or use a Lacerator for amp and another option is a Baranar star.

Don't bother with fire claw or rabies with a fury wolf.

Life is less important for PvM but more life is better for sure. Or you can go the How way of you prefer more dmg. All depend on your playstyle.
For pure Pvm, í'd go the fury/summon way. Max fury, have some strong pets ( Wolve/ Bear/Raven ) , max How or Oak, few in WW etc... Pets are always fun to have.
You can also Ubering with some minors gear mod.

And I second Kiba on what he said.

If you are poor it is not the easiest char to start with, but quite strong and fun. You will need some equipment to bring him good through NM into hell but this can be traded with pgems for.
I started with a fury wolf too. The most expensive item for being not stuck in hell was my upgraded ribby. But with collecting all flawless gems and a little luck you should get the runes for upgrading. With this most of hell was a breeze : )
I second Oak before HoW because of party friendliness and because of safety. Otherwise it´s just up to you what you prefer.
