Pure Fire Build: Last Skill Points
Well, for once I didn't make a meteorb hybrid MF soso and decided to go full fire. This has its drawbacks of course, but I can at least run my main targets - Andy & Meph - with some speed. Sometimes I mf with a buddy who has a pure cold soso, which is quite fun and we work pretty well as a team.
Here is my skill distribution so far:
20 fire bolt
20 fire ball
20 meteor
20 fire mastery
1 warmth
1 enchant
1 hydra
3 inferno
1 blaze
1 firewall
I also have shiver armor, teleport & static of course.
At this point my soso is level 85 and I plan to get her to 90 maybe, so the main question is: What skill do I put my last points in?
As you can see, I already dumped some in inferno; each hard point adds 3% to meteor's avg fire dmg. I also decided to get hydras for fun, since enchant is always appreciated by party members anyway and hydras are already fully synergized by fire bolt and fireball.
When I mf with my buddy, I tend to use those hydras a lot as a sort of anchor point to see where the enemies are located off-screen. Then I just aim my fireball that way and cast away. Meteor is rarely used when actively mf-ing in areas like the pit, wsk2 & crystalline passage.
On the other hand, I was thinking about improving my kill speed at Meph's by upping inferno so I could try to run him in full pub games, but 3% extra dmg by the fire that is burning on the ground hardly seems worth it. Meteor's impact dmg with +skills is at 19k now and the avg fire dmg is at 1700 now.
Hell, I could even drop some extra points in shiver armor.
