Public Bot Accusations
People might notice a certain thread has been deleted where a member was making public accusations against a couple of people for bot'ing.
Please do not publicly post bot accusations based on what amounts to only suspicions. The stuff that was posted about those two guys didn't really prove anything. Bot'ing is very difficult to really prove. Screenies prove nothing as those can very easily be doctored. Not answering whispers proves nothing. Hell, with all the whisper bots on BNet now I'm ignoring whispers all the friggin time.
Most of the time the stuff people present as "evidence" that someone is bot'ing wouldn't have a leg to stand on in a court of law. Quite frankly in the real world you could be sued for slander for what usually gets posted (looking at it in a legalistic sense).
yeah, people that run bots suck. Out loud. But if I start letting these bot accusations go, people start making accusations based only on the fact that somebody has a big list of stuff to trade, and it gets really ugly really fast.
