Problem with fury

Hi guys

This is my first post so i'd really appreciate your help.I have a 53 lvl fury druid in ladder and i have a problem. He's equipped a headstriker battle sword (unique) and a crappy grim shield with lots of defense and ctb.But when i use my fury most of the times it stops to block(!?!).Moreover there are times that even if i press for fury he does normal attack!!!What to do please?

Well, block does that. Your character's attack is interrupted because he needs to defend himself. Its a choice you have to make: Take damage, but deal damage, or defend, and not attack.

As for the last one, did you run out of mana by any chance?

  1. use two-handed weapons
  2. make the attack animation faster
  3. make the block animation faster
  4. divert attacks using summons

All options are possible solutions ... but I'd suggest going for the first two.

Wolfs have rather good health, and great faster hit recovery breakpoints, thus in a pvm situation I'd prefer taking the hit and moving on rather then block, after all any life lost can be replenished within one or two furys anyway. Another thing in favor of two-handers is the weapon range.

Fury can get really fast if you get some IAS on the weapon, for details head over to the druid forum. I'd suggest collecting some pgems and trading them for a ribcracker as fast as possible, it's a great weapon both for leveling (unupped) and mid-endgame (upped).

That said ladder is ending soon, so might be worthwhile to wait and restart if you've "just" started on ladder.

Regarding that normal attack problem, I suggest having both fury and feral on your right mouse button, and switch between them using hotkeys. If you still have that problem after trying that then I dunno. :whistling:
