Problem playing saved game on another computer

Hello, when I installed diablo 2 on another computer and copied the saved files on it my character is only level 9 when i open. And it should be level 87. Does anyone know why this happens?

I can add that the original game was played on a game downloaded from torrent and using original keys froim cover, and the new game is on a original cd install. And both games is patched to 1.13.

I hope someone can help me cause I don't wanna start a new character.

Hm. I assume you're playing Single Player, as a character saved on closed battlenet should be at the same level regardless of what computer is accessing it. The only thing that makes sense to me is that you may have inadvertently carried over an older saved version of the character rather than the most current. Perhaps you can use ATMA or GoMule to check out all the character files on your older pc to ensure you're carrying over the most recently saved version?
