Have no time and no desire to get back playing D2.
But maybe, after I finish writing my dissertation I will have some time on my hands while looking for a job... I hope this game doesn't sabotage my job searching!!

Hay dizzy, I just came back to d2 aswell.
The bots are still rampant like always.
But there is something new! Respecs! oops I put to much in str, I need to start this char all over, I put skill points wrong -> new char. Its the past, you can just reset stats and skills, wieeeeeee. More focus on playing the game then figuring out your build and all.

I knew about the respec and i like it, allows to keep your starter char over a longer period of time (when you get better gear)

From a trader's point of view:

Duping doesn't seem to have become rampant yet (I don't know why, however), as HR values are pretty much close to what they ought to be by cubing up and finding them. I like it that way.

Runes up to Gul are worth half as much as they were in the last season at the stage we currently are in. I blame botting for that.

Pgems and crating materials seem to have the most stable price, but that's no news, it has been like that at all times.

I still don't have a single HR except my self-found Cham , but I'm close to having enough Ists for a Lo rune... well OK, if I wasn't that lazy at trading, I could afford one right now :whistling:

Good news about the runes, i guess the increased droprate has something to do with that too

It suxx balls man! I can't wait for it to end, I spend most time at home, but at the same time I don't really do much work. And thats without playing D2. I can only imagine stress levels if I was also trading... :crazyeyes:

Haha, I didnt mean it like that! I meant to say it's very unlikely to be as great as Fish's time in Sochi (he spoke to me about his trip and seen his photos, he had a blast), and I'm going there with my family so I cant go all out if you know what I mean. I'm sure Switzerland is beautiful country, btw I should also state I screwed up and I'm actually going to northern Italy, just very close to the Switzerland border but not Switzerland itself.

Hehe, no worries! Sochi already sounds like it's much more fun to have summer vacation at than Switzerland . But then again the landscape down there is pretty cool. :smug:

Well, almost back, a friend of mine convinced me to restart D2 next weekend (after a ~18month break). Im just about to submit my PhD thesis too so its good timing!

How are things on here anyway? Im glad to see this message board is still running. I always enjoyed trading here and in particular the way the people here are real people, if you get what I mean.

Nice to see some familiar faces too. Rather unsurprisingly Xora and Krischan are still here, their dedication is second to none! I see plenty of other names I remember too on this page alone (Dizzy, ancalagon, Hyarmenion). It seems D2 really is one of thats games that damn hard to run away from permanently, lol!

I was in Prague last summer actually, awesome place, and just got back from Krakow a week ago!

However, im 99% certain my girlfriend would leave me if I was to go to a Diablo related meet up. She hates this game enough as it is from last time I was playing it, rofl. Does anyone else have problems with girlfriends and not understanding D2?

Her sister isnt worth the hassle, so ill save you some time there, lol.

She has no patience for things like computer games, especially ones that take a while to get used to. Its difficult enough to get her to play mariokart on the wii without her getting frustrated!

As for the bj while playing diablo, I think I speak for everybody here when I say youre a **** and we are not at all jealous!

Missing it a lot! It is +35 today there, and misty + rainy here and +15...

I am working on my dissertation, 3 more weeks of hell... Then I will probably get back to playing D2. I am unsure about it still :scratchchin:

Back in the day I would make D2 breaks for a quickie, after about a month my then girlfriend got really peed off with the way I was playing the game so quickies ended I am quite surprised I managed to pull it off for so long, I must admit I am quite good at it (and I don't mean playing D2) :smug:

just tell her it´s not d2 related, as it will be rather some multi national meeting, where u´ll party, drink, chill with some ppl from other countries and get to know their cultural differences just as a new city and everything it has to offer (maybe u should exclude prostitutes and strippers here...)

Rofl. If I phrased it like that im sure prostitutes and strippers would be all she could think about anyway! I havent been paid on my PhD since last September, so my money situation isnt great anyway.

Lets see how my return to D2 goes first anyway, I cant really remember why I stopped playing last time around (I think it was due to annoyance with mass duping of runes and most of my other friends stopping playing).

Since my friend suggested starting playing again all ive been able to do is think about what builds I can make pretty much non-stop, I rekon it will keep me occupied for a while at least!
