god, that is really cheap if thats from a bar... about 3 euros for 2 quid....
and its about 2 quid a bottle in manchester clubs/pubs/bars....
its only cheap if you buy from newsagents

ouch, i look back at those posts and wonder how the hell you managed to make sense, its very impressive lol.
I've told you several times, I've had way too much experience dealing with people doing the same thing you were doing last night.
And i drank in a fairly good mood last night, and i look at the texts ive sent, and wince, but didnt do anything stupid...
Don't try to give me that bull. You said yourself you did it to make yourself feel better. That is not a viable reason to drink like that! A little should be okay to loosen up, as Nick said, but drinking the way you did for the reason you did is not being very responsible! You told me once you know how to do it in moderation, well that was far from it, Andy.
and i objkect to most of the remarks by Lynn last night, so when she gets on, i cn argue the toss with her
You can object to me all you want, I will not change how I feel about the matter. I have seen way too many bad things happen where alcohol is involved, and I don't want any of those things happening to you. You can't even begin to imagine the things I've had to deal with in that respect. You are one of the very few people in the world I would call a friend, even if we never get the chance to meet in person. I wouldn't be able to take it if something happened to you because of the way your drinking habits have gotten. I'm done talking about this for now, you've got me crying.

Hey woah Lynn, calm down. We all know alcohol does bad things and I'm sure none of us are challenging your opinions and reasoning at all, I'm sure Tank wasn't at all being personally aggressive in any way.

I drink myself and we've all seen a few bad things, he's 16 and I pretty much am too and we drink for the fun of it. Yeah sure, it has it's dangers and I'm sure he's not objecting in any way, nor am I, but it's just the mindset of our generation. Nobody our age would drink for drastic reasons in a an attempt to hurt themselves, and alcohol has always been stereotyped as the way out of 'depression'. But it really isn't, and we drink because its something to do and its fun, with others of course and not by ourselves.

Not trying to argue or anything here but just saying, we're aware of the dangers and I'm sure Tank isn't misusing it to cheer himself up.

Hope you're okay Lynn :/

And Tank: IN YOUR FACE I GO ON STUDY LEAVE THIS FRIDAY!! Haha. Nah just playin with ya, we do get the early time but I probably won't use it sensibly.

Ohhhhhhhhh I hate them spirits.

I stopped drinking vodka a while ago, but yeah no problem I understand ya. Whenever theres a party theres me with a few drinks, of course I always keep in mind you don't need to get drunk to have fun...it just helps.

Then again, I was battered last Saturday and was too drunk to ask for this girls number rofl...

Luckily I got her msn from a friend and now I'm meetin up with her on the bank holiday :p

Oh I might be having the same problem...god damn exam excuse. Does my nut in.

I really cannot be bothered to revise, seriously. I'm more of a night before guy myself...maybe I'll pick up some biology books but thats my limit.

I haven't planned any parties yet >< But I'm sure we'll be ravin' it up soon.

Haha yeah. I learn more that way.

I tend to say I don't care anymore, I think I need a new year of A-levels to actually get me going again. I care more about this bank holiday than the exams at the moment, but I'm sure it'll start kicking in when I mess up the first paper.

I'm PRETTY confident at the moment but I know I can and should back it up with a bit of a kick :/ Ah we'll see. How many exams you got?

KT

Tankmobile

Attempting to avoid the debate on whether Tankmobile's drinking habits are acceptable or not. Instead I provide some information for the alcohol price comparisons. (Was comparing alcohol politics in that sociology report I was whining in the OT thread about some weeks ago)

All information is taken from http://data.euro.who.int/alcohol/Default.aspx?TabID=2422 under the tab "price comparisons"
But I'm just picking a few of the nations on the list, those of forumers and those of the extremes.

Average price of locally produced or most consumed beer (0.5 litres)

Sweden: 1.05 Euros
Denmark: 0.92 Euros
Netherlands: 0.60 Euros
Norway: 2.84 Euros
Malta: 0.19 Euros

Average price of locally produced or most consumed bottle of spirits (0.7 litres)

Sweden: 21.27 Euros
Denmark: 10.75 Euros
Netherlands: 8.74 Euros
Norway: 39.01 Euros
Georgia: 0.66 Euros

Anyway, Sweden is expensive but now we also know why normannen is never drunkposting in our OT thread.
