Pretty good find

I was leveling up my trapper earlier today, presently level 7, and was in a perming game and went into the hole in act 2. Was not killing to well but was able to stay ahead of the monsters pretty well. Anyway I kill one and get a blue ethereal wand in the drop. I pick it up and identify it and lo and behold it is a +3 RS and +3 SM (mastery) wand. That is one of the best low level wands I have ever seen drop. Just thought I would mention it.

Nice find indeed. To anyone else who wants one of these- just shop in Normal Act 1 Akara with a low level character (lvl 5 is probably best). With enough patience, you could even get a 3rd skill, perhaps Bone Armor or Amplify Damage.

The find only has importance because when playing act 1 you don't have enough gold to buy anything that costly. Would probably be 100K to 200K. I never have that much starting out.

Every time I start a summoner, I try shopping at least a 3/2 or 1/3 RS/SM wand - obviously 3/3 is ideal, but the +dmg that +SM grants each skeleton really speeds things up in the beginning. I'd take a +3 SM head over +3 RS head from levels 1-30 any day.
