----------------------------------------------------------------------

With doom obviously going to be incredibly difficult to obtain, I can't expect to have it soon. But I should explain why I've chosen each item before someone tells me why I didn't choose the 'cream of the crop' on instead.

The Harlequin Crest is self-explanatory for its +2 skill points. Arkaine's Valor, while not having the highest defense, grants another +2 skill points. My Doom Runeword grants +2 skill points, but most people would say get two +3 traps katars. The reason I've chosen Doom is that it gives you a level 12 Holy Freeze Aura, and is one of the only two Runewords in the game that lets you, aside from Ice. Dueling with a mercenary seems to be popular to some people, but every time yours dies you must pay another impossibly large sum of gold to get it back. It's not that bad the first five times, but after a while it's just plain annoying to have to run to the Mercenary Recruiter after every duel with a Sorceress. So I've decided to have a constantly active Holy Freeze around myself, so that enemies will have a tough time between Mind Blasts to evade my Lightning Sentries. I've chosen the Spirit Shield because it is relatively easy to obtain and grants +2 all skills. The amulet is self-explanatory, as are the Dual Stones of Jordan and Arachnid Mesh. Finally, Natalya's Soul grants +40% running speed and a few poor resistance mods. I really don't know what to do about boots.

But on to the numbers. I figure with +11 to all Assassin skills and +3 to all trap skills, I should have high damage. My skill distribution is as follows, planned for maximum lightning sentry damage:

1 Fire Blast
20 Shock Web
20 Charged Bolt Sentry
20 Lightning Sentry
20 Death Sentry

1 Claw Mastery
1 Burst of Speed
1 Fade
1 Psychic Hammer
1 Cloak of Shadows
20 Mind Blast

If you max in this order, Lightning Sentry, Death Sentry, Charged Bolt Sentry, and then Shock Web, then at level 34 Lightning Sentry is dealing 8-6806 lightning damage per shot. Also if you need additional firepower, a few well placed Death Sentries will deal 3-2454 damage. Combined with eight seconds of stun on a level 31 mind blast (how does the interpret to human players?) it should be formidable.

Please note that this isn't a guide, but rather I need help determining if this is viable in any way. If there are flaws, please tell me so that I can correct them. I was playing in a duel server against a very similar build, and no one could stop this trapsin.

Thanks for reading!

No teleport makes you target practice for may builds. And enigma is far easier to get then arcane.

No "can not be frozen" leaves you even more of a sitting duck against those with just a bit cold damage.

No shadow means you're opponent will always target you, against fohers etc this is bad.

I have no idea how you'll get your resists up, you'll most likely need bos for trap laying speed. May I assume you cannot afford an intentory of 20/5 sc's?

6,8k is low damage for a pure trapper, you'll have to include trap skillers in your calculations.

While the swirls from mindblast last any damage, no matter how low, will cause your opponent to go into hit recovery animation.

Okay, suppose I replace Arkaine with Enigma, and one of my SoJs with a Raven Frost so I can't be frozen. I'll see what I can do about fitting Shadow Master into this, even with a single point in it my +12 other skills with get it to 13. I also have no idea how my resists will go up.

Also, I do not know what bos stands for, and what do you mean by including trap skillers in my calculators?

Thanks.

I'm not sure what you mean here, but you can't have more than 5 traps active at the same time, of any type. I can't imagine any reason to use DS instead of LS.

With an axe and 45 IAS you are also quite slow with trap laying.

Ah, I never knew that. Ok then, LS all the way.

Also, does faster casting rate help with laying traps?

Oh, great. Well though Doom is interesting, with a slow IAS and therefore a slow trap laying speed, this build kinda falls apart.

Thanks for the warning!
